The Skelligs and County Kerry Expedition, Ireland

The main challenge of this trip is to get out to the Skellig Islands, to check in on Luke Skywalker.  This is a 35 km, ~11 hours paddling trip of great challenge and huge reward.

Settled conditions are fundamentally important to the success of this journey.  The week will see us make preparatory trips along the coastline of the Iveragh Peninsula and associated Islands, Fjord, Inlets and massive cliffs.  Should conditions be unfavourable for a Skelligs crossing, the County Kerry coastline will surely provide hugely rewarding paddling opportunities.
