AT A GLANCE

  • Morning planning/teamwork sessions, over coffee

  • Quality sea kayak and related equipment supplied for the duration of the course

  • Boat handling skills in sheltered water, then applied to open water

PREREQUISTES

  • This is appropriate for all participants with reasonable core strength and fitness.

  • Core Strength: Can you sit upright on the floor without needing back support for a while and can you then stand up using just 1 hand for support?

  • Fitness: Can you sustain 1-2 whole days of aerobic activity, similar in intensity to a lovely coastal walk?

MEETING LOCATION/PADDLING VENUE
We normally meet in Holyhead or Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, depending on the weather forecast. The paddling venues are always specially chosen to match our courses.

We work with with a wide range of groups and clubs, including: Potteries Paddlers Canoe Club, Midland Canoe Club, Cambridge Canoe Club, Paddle Plus Leicester and the Irish Sea Kayak Association.

Corporate and Media

Our corporate and media work has included collaborations with Jaguar Land Rover’s Employee Learning Scheme and S4C television’s Cefn Gwlad programme.
